Join us on an unforgettable private D-Day guided tour of the Normandy landing beaches, led by your private Paris tour guide.

During this full-day trip from Paris, your expert WWII driver-guide will provide insights into the Battle of Normandy, shedding light on the monumental Operation Overlord, which saw 156,000 men landing on a 50-mile stretch of coastline, including Utah beach, Omaha beach, Gold beach, Juno beach, and Sword beach, as well as the paratroopers involved.

France was largely occupied by German troops during World War II, making Normandy an ideal starting point for liberation. The assault on the 5 beaches and the subsequent Normandy campaign were pivotal moments in the war, signaling to Germans that D-Day was a full-scale invasion rather than a diversionary tactic.

A visit to the Normandy beaches offers a chance to relive this historic day, which profoundly shaped France’s history.

Our private D-Day Normandy guided tour is perfect for those wanting to delve into the details of this significant event. Additionally, we offer a special Paris day tour for our Canadian and British clients, which includes visits to Juno beach, the Canadian D-Day museum, the gun battery at Longues sur Mer, and the artificial harbor at Gold beach (Arromanches). Upon request, we can also arrange visits to Sword Beach and Pegasus Bridge in Bénouville.

The classic tour includes a private small-group D-Day Normandy guided tour of Pointe du Hoc, where 225 US American Rangers led by Colonel James Earl Rudder achieved an impressive and almost impossible mission by climbing cliffs under fire to destroy six 155mm guns. You’ll also visit Omaha Beach, where your Normandy D-Day licensed tour guide will provide insights into both the American and German perspectives on D-Day. After lunch (not included), you’ll have a guided tour of the American cemetery in Colleville sur Mer before returning to Paris
