Next, continue to Auvers-sur-Oise, a quaint village immortalized by Vincent van Gogh during his final months. Walk in the footsteps of the Dutch artist as you visit landmarks such as the Auberge Ravoux, where van Gogh lived and worked, and the picturesque churchyard where he and his brother Theo are buried.
Throughout the tour, your expert guide will share fascinating insights into the lives and works of Monet and van Gogh, offering a deeper understanding of their artistic legacies and the cultural significance of these charming villages.
Conclude your day with a leisurely drive back to Paris, reflecting on the beauty and inspiration found in the landscapes and artistic heritage of Giverny and Auvers-sur-Oise
It’s advisable to book your tour in advance, especially if you’re planning to visit during peak tourist seasons or weekends. Booking in advance helps secure your preferred time slot, allows for better availability of knowledgeable guides, and helps you avoid long queues.
For popular times like holidays or summer months, booking several weeks to a few months in advance is recommended. However, if you’re visiting during the off-peak season or on weekdays, booking a few weeks ahead might be sufficient.
Keep in mind that private tours and special experiences may have limited availability, so the earlier you book, the better.
